Pricing & VAT

All prices displayed on our website exclude VAT. Value Added Tax (VAT) will be calculated and added at the checkout at the current UK rate.

Making a Purchase

Ordering online with us is simple, 100% secure, and we have no minimum order quantity or value.

Browse & Select: Locate your required product and click the image, heading, or “Add to Cart” button to view full specifications and available options.
Configure Your Product: Select your mandatory specifications (e.g., pressure range, thread size, etc.), enter your required quantity, and click “Add to Cart”.
Alternative Ordering: If you cannot find the exact item you require, or would prefer to place your order over the phone, please call our team on 01440 707751 and we will be delighted to assist.

Back Orders

In the unlikely event that an item is out of stock, we will email you within 24 hours (typically within the hour) to provide an estimated availability date. You will then have the option to:

Await the stock (we will place the item on back order and dispatch it immediately upon arrival).
Discuss an alternative product.
Cancel the affected item or the complete order.

Shipping on Back Orders: We do not charge additional delivery fees for standard stock items sent on back order. However, if bespoke, built-to-order gauges are purchased alongside standard stock items, you can choose to have the complete order dispatched together, or sent separately (which may incur an additional shipping charge).

Secure Payment

To ensure maximum security, we do not store or process your card details directly. Payments are securely managed via Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 compliant with 256-bit encryption). We accept most major credit and debit cards.

Handling & Packaging

Due to the delicate nature of instrumentation, all orders are meticulously packed to prevent damage in transit. Should you need to return any items, please ensure they are packed to the same high standard.

Thanks to the volume of orders we dispatch daily, we are able to pass on highly competitive shipping rates negotiated with our carriers.

Dispatch Times

Standard Dispatch: For items in stock, we aim to process and dispatch all orders received before 1:00pm (UK time) on the same day.
Late Orders: Our carriers collect daily at 2:00pm. If you require urgent next-day delivery and it is past 1:00pm, please call us directly to discuss feasibility and costs.

UK Delivery Options

We use a variety of national couriers depending on the weight and service required.

Most orders are dispatched on a next working day service (delivered before 5:30pm) to the vast majority of UK mainland postcodes and are fully trackable.

Note: Delivery to remote postcodes, the Scottish Highlands, and offshore islands may take 2–3 days and incur higher costs. Available shipping options and precise costs will be calculated at the cart and checkout stages once your address is entered.

Urgent & Special Deliveries

For time-critical orders, the following premium services are available at checkout:

Next working day before 12:00pm or 10:30am.
Saturday delivery (options for before 5:30pm, 12:00pm, 10:00am, or 9:00am).
Same-Day Courier: For extreme emergencies, same-day delivery via dedicated motorcycle or car courier can often be arranged depending on the time of the order and destination. Please call us to arrange.

Important Shipping Notes:

Consignment Weight: Large orders (over 30kg) or deliveries to certain remote postcodes may incur higher rates than standard. We will always contact you for approval before dispatching your order.
Alternative Delivery Addresses: If no one is available to accept delivery, the carrier may leave the parcel with a neighbour and post an explanatory note. If you prefer this not to happen, please specify a delivery address that is guaranteed to be occupied during working hours.
Royal Mail: To ensure traceability, we prefer not to use Royal Mail. If you specifically require a small order to be sent via 1st Class Recorded or Special Delivery, please contact us. Please note that the customer accepts responsibility for any loss of traceability using this method.
